What documents do I need to submit to set up my account?

The process of uploading documents is very simple. Please note that some documents vary depending on whether you register as an individual or a legal entity. Here you will find all of them.

Important note: all data must match the data entered at the time of registration of the dLocal Go account.


Proof of Bank Account

  • The receipt must be a PDF file downloaded from your bank.

  • It must include account holder and account number.

  • The document must be issued by the bank.

  • The cardholder's name must match the name entered in the dLocal account.

  • It cannot be a screenshot from the bank's app.

Identity document

  • Clear and visible photo.

  • Document of the same dLocal Go account holder.

  • Must have date of birth.

  • The applicant must be at least 18 years old.

  • The document cannot be expired.

Proof of address

  • The name on the proof of address must be the same as the name on the ID card.

  • Must be a valid bill/receipt (utility bill, bank statement) from the last 6 months. Envelope photos do not apply.

  • The entire document must be displayed, not just a photo of a part of it.

Tax compliance

  • Different documents are accepted depending on the country.

  • The document number must match the one entered in the account and the other documents with this number.

  • The number must be valid.

  • Must be in the same company name as the dLocal Go account (company registration)

Shareholders document (only applies for company registration)

  • The document must be displayed in its entirety.

  • It must be the incorporation document of the company registered in dLocal Go.

  • It must include the names of the owners/partners of the company and match the one registered in the ID. The registered partner must have more than 25% of the shareholding.

  • You must include among these names the name of the identity document sent.

  • The document must be in the format corresponding to the country.
