Important Note Before Starting
The verification code will NOT be sent via SMS or email. This code is generated randomly and constantly only within an authentication app that you must have installed on your mobile device (such as Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.).
Steps to Enable:
Access your Profile: Click on your name or user icon in the top right area of the platform and select the "Profile" option.
Toggle the Switch: In the pop-up window, look for the "Two-Factor Authentication" section. You will see that the default status is "Disabled". Slide the switch to start the process.
Set up your App: Click the "Continue configuration" button. A new window will open with a QR code.
Link your account:
Open your authentication app on your phone.
Scan the QR code displayed on the dLocal Go screen.
If you cannot scan it, use the "Manual code" option to link it.
Verify the connection: Once linked, the app will start generating 6-digit codes. Enter the code you see at that moment in the "Verification code" field within dLocal Go to confirm that everything is working correctly.
Important
Will I be asked for the code every time? Yes, for security reasons, the system will request the code generated in your app every time you log in. Currently, the "remember device" option is not enabled.
What if I want to disable it? You can do it at any time from the same Profile section by turning off the authentication switch. It is a simple process that you can perform yourself without needing to contact support.
What do I do if I change my phone? We recommend disabling 2FA in your profile before you stop using your old phone, and then re-enabling it following these steps on your new device.
